One thing that annoys me about MSN

Why do people sign in to MSN if they aren't willing to talk to people? I have contacts who are signed in 24 hours a day. They are almost always 'Away' and so nobody talks to them. One of my contacts right now is spending all her time revising because she has exams this week and next week. She still signs into MSN, and changes her status to 'Busy', and if you talk to her she asks you to leave her alone.

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU SIGNED IN TO AN INSTANT MESSENGER PROGRAM IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO USE IT, DUMBASS?

Logically if whatever you're doing is that important, you shouldn't be on MSN. Granted, sometimes people are doing things and need to talk to one of their contacts; fair enough. But if you're going out somewhere, don't say 'Away' - sign out. I guarantee you won't miss anything. Honest. And if you're too busy to talk to people, sign out and get on with it. Really, the world won't end if you sign off for an hour or so.
